The person that decided to toll the Fermoy by-pass should be ceremonially butt kicked from one end of Fermoy to the other. Fermoy had been crying out for a bypass for decades. It finally opened to traffic this year. But what did they do... they tolled it.

Now for the Irish bit...trucks and commercial vehicles, the ones you want to get out of the town, have to pay more for the use of the by-pass, hence they are not using it and Fermoy is as bad as ever.
